Chris Striefel started TRU Real Estate in 2008 as a way to achieve his goals both in his real estate career and his personal life. The founding principal of TRU Real Estate is to create a way for the client to make a donation to the charity of their choice. TRU Real Estate will give 10% of their commission to the charity of the client's choice. The T.R.U. come from the word alTRUistic meaning kindness or concern for others. Michael Rudin joined TRU. Real Estate in September of 2008 as a Broker Associate. Michael graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May of 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design and Planning with an emphasis in Real Estate. Michael’s previous work experience includes summer jobs at Cushman & Wakefield, The Blackstone Group, and Rudin Management Company. After getting his real estate salesperson’s license in New York in 2005, Michael worked as a salesperson for the commercial real estate brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield during the summer of 2006. While there he worked with his lead broker’s group on many high-profile deals representing both tenants and landlords. Michael spent his next summer working in the Real Estate Asset Management group at Blackstone. During his time there he worked on the repositioning of multiple assets in New York City and Boston, Massachusetts. Michael was offered a full time job at Blackstone but declined to finish his studies. After graduating Michael worked for his family’s real estate company, Rudin Management. Over the summer he spent time working on The St. Vincent’s Hospital redevelopment project as well as putting together a history of the company to try and attract outside equity partners for future projects. He also spent time during the summer of 2008 working with the USGBC compiling data for a cost study analysis of building green in New York City.

I administer the design review process for new home construction. In my tenure Coryell Ranch has doubled in residences and I continue to seek out best practices in management so that Coryell Ranch progresses and matures into a world class riverfront community. Project Manager/Consultant Acadia Home Builders (Real Estate industry) November 2001 — Present (8 years 7 months) I have consulted on 10 different custom home construction projects. Handling tasks such as aiding the client in land purchase, project management, materials aquisistion and design. I have helped clients with kitchen and bathroom layout and design, fixtures and tile design and general floor plan consulting. I am continually succesful in providing the client with solutions to value purchasing and cost savings techniques. Broker Associate Fell Real Estate (Real Estate industry) January 2005 — April 2007 (2 years 4 months) Worked primarily as a buyer's agent specializeing in helping clients that were looking to purchase homes or vacant land.
